Sales Executive
The Sales Executive is responsible for
establishing and supporting the relationships between both the independent Web developers
and other prospects, and Datex. Through the process of building relationships, and direct
outside sales, the Sales Exec. will sell the benefits of hosting Web sites with Datex.
He/she will manage the sales process of prospecting, close, and after sales support with
both the independent Web developers and other prospects. Extensive opportunity for growth
within the organization and very high income potential.
FT and PT opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with independent Web developers and other
prospects via phone and e-mail to explain benefits of Datex webhosting services
- Build a professional relationship with the members of the
Datex community stressing the benefits of Web sites being hosted by Datex
- Prospect new customers
- Manage the sales cycle for each Datex prospect developed:
Obtain Web site hosting requirements for preparation of
custom quotes
Deliver quotes that match the needs of the customer and the
abilities of Datex
Initiate Web hosting when proposal is accepted
Manage customer satisfaction throughout Web site hosting
process
Initiate and manage all billing acceptance documentation
- Prospect past Datex clients for future opportunities,
inlcuding OEM and major accounts
- Generate weekly reports on sales activity for immediate
supervisor
- Various and other duties as required to complete objectives

Requirements
- Interest in Internet technology
- Aptitude for discussing/ learning new technical concepts
- Superior organizational, oral and written communication
skills
- Professional demeanor with customers
- Professional interaction with cross functional team members
(internal technical/ customer support staff)
- Experience following defined processes
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience managing own work to achieve targeted results
- Familiarity with Web hosting a plus!
- Bilingual in any language a plus!
