Datex's Year 2000 Conformity Statement

Datex's overall network operation will conform to the Year 2000 Conformity definition described in BSI DISC PD2000-1:1998 by April 1, 1999.

• No value for current date will cause interruption in our service.
• Date-based functionality will behave consistently for dates prior to, during and after the year 2000.
• In all interfaces, and data storage, the century in any date will be specified either explicitly or by unambiguous algorithms or inferencing rules.
• And year 2000 will be recognized as a leap year.

We are working closely with all of our vendors, and contunually analyzing all of our systems to ensure that all pertinent software patches are put into place in a timely non-disruptive fashion. We believe our critical core networking equipment are already compliant. Our core networking hardware/software are provided by the following vendors who believe their products to be Y2K compliant:

We anticipate full year 2000 remediation of our non-critical subsystems be completed in the first quarter of 1999. All of these plans are contingent upon our suppliers delivering compliant products as committed.
